A Tribute to our Volunteer Firemen
By Mary Rhoades
Did you ever stop to think
When you hear the sirens blow,
That it could be you my friend
Whose home was all aglow:
No matter when our men are called
To face a dangerous fire,
They risk their lives and limbs for you,
with only thanks for hire.
So here's to the Firemen in every town
Who do their duties well,
We salute and thank you too,
Far more than words can tell.
