Hubbardsville Fire District

Operating out of our station located on Green Rd. in Hubbardsville, NY, we protect a district of approximately 54 square miles that includes  7.5 miles  of New York State Route 12 and a portion of the CSX railroad. HVFD has the Sanger River, a part of Poolville Lake, and over 25 other privately-owned smaller lakes and ponds within our response district. We are located 25 miles south of the city of Utica and 50 miles north of the city of Binghamton. Our district consists of a large amount of the town of Hamilton, but includes small portions of the towns of Brookfield and Madison. HVFD borders six different fire departments: Madison, North Brookfield, Brookfield, Sherburne, Earlville, and Hamilton. Within our fire district there are a total of 45 roads and over 550 "911" residences.
